TERMS OF USE

This online course (the “Course”) is conducted by Laura Coe, Laura Coe Coaching LLC, and each of their associated staffs (the “Proprietors"). By registering for the Course, you (the “Participant”) signify your acceptance of and obligation to these terms and conditions ("Terms of Use," the “Agreement”). If you have any objections to the following Agreement, you should not register for the Course.

Liability Disclaimer: No Professional Advice

The information contained in or made available by the Proprietors or any third-party through the Course or their websites or services cannot replace or substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, but not limited to, mental, financial, medical, psychological, or legal fields. The Proprietors do not offer any professional personal, medical, financial, or legal advice and none of the information contained in the Course should be confused as such advice. Neither the Proprietors nor their assigns, sponsors, speakers, agents, managers, partners, contractors or any of their affiliates will be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages to the Participant or the Participant’s business, including economic loss, that may result from participation in the Course or from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials, information, or strategies communicated through the Course or any products or services provided pursuant to the Course, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will the Proprietors be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from Participant’s involvement in the activities of the Course. To be clear: You, the Participant, alone are responsible and accountable for your decisions, actions and results in life, and by your participation in our Course, you agree not to attempt to hold us, the Proprietors, liable for any decisions, actions or results that you make or experience in business or in life due to your participation in this Course at any time, under any circumstance.

Waiver of Liability

By ticking the box, you agree to hold the Proprietors entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries or damages are caused by negligence. By agreeing to these terms you forfeit all rights to bring a suit against the Proprietors for any reason.

Agreement

By ticking the box, you the Participant hereby certify that you are 18 years of age or older.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2026 The Little Soul School Costa Rica Retreat (hereinafter referred to as “Retreat,” “Event,” or “Intensive”), I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against The Little Soul School, Laura Coe, LLC, their staff, and all persons involved in Little Soul School events (hereinafter referred to as "Agents") for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the Retreat, or as an individual during my time with the group.

Little Soul School Agents act only in the capacity as Agent for me, a Retreat Participant ("Participant"), in all matters connected with travel, sight-seeing experiences, and local transportation, and as Agents hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. Agents shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity, or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or other Participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of Little Soul School Agents for transportation, accommodation, or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with this Retreat.

The Little Soul School asks that each Participant take personal responsibility for their own self-care and (in the unlikely case) for any emotional or energetic discomfort incurred during the Akashic Record training. If Participants are unsure of their readiness to engage in this spiritual or emotional work, they should seek the advice of a healthcare or mental-health practitioner before paying any money to secure a spot in a Little Soul School Retreat.

The Little Soul School will provide a list of suggested accommodations for Participants traveling to Costa Rica, but is not responsible for Participant accommodation choices or experiences. The Little Soul School and its Agents are not responsible for any damages, expenses, or inconveniences caused by late travel arrivals or change of schedules, nor will The Little Soul School be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the Participant's belongings.

Please note that because the number of Participants in a Little Soul School Retreat is limited, our cancellation policy is in place to help Participants and The Little Soul School alike work together to share the burden of expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

• Full payment is required to secure a spot in the Retreat. Upon payment, you agree to all terms, conditions, and policies;
• Payments are non-refundable but are transferable to another attendee as approved by The Little Soul School in its sole discretion;
• Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected];
• The Little Soul School will endeavor to help identify a Transferee if needed;
• In the event a transfer is found, any refunds allowed will incur a $25 relisting fee and a 10% processing fee if the refund is issued via PayPal;
• Exceptions to these policies will not be made. We appreciate that “life happens,” but The Little Soul School is a small, passion-driven business and cannot bear all of the risk of registrants not being able to attend the Retreat for whatever reason.

Nobody registers for a Little Soul School Retreat with the intention of canceling. Still, unexpected events do occur, so The Little Soul School strongly suggests that Participants who are traveling to Costa Rica consider purchasing trip-cancellation insurance so that trip and registration fees will be covered should Participants have a medical problem prior to their trip.

The Little Soul School reserves the right to cancel this Retreat if there is inadequate participant interest, in which case all fees will be refunded. Notification of cancellation, for this reason, will occur by January 15, 2026, at the latest. The Little Soul School cannot be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets or accommodation, due to itinerary changes or event cancellations.

ATTESATIONS

It is my responsibility to read and understand The Little Soul School Retreat cancellation policies. I understand that exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, illness, or personal emergencies, and that, except as outlined above, there will be no refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the Retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early.

I understand that I assume the risk involved when participating in Akashic Record training, travel, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating in the Retreat. Participants attest and agree to the following knowingly and voluntarily:

• Akashic Record training may evoke emotional or energetic experiences. If I experience any emotional, mental, or energetic discomfort, I will honor my own boundaries, take care of myself as needed, and communicate with staff if support is required.
• I understand that spiritual or healing work can bring up sensitive memories or emotions. I take full responsibility for my own well-being and understand that any shifts or insights I experience are part of my personal process.
• I acknowledge that I am emotionally and mentally prepared to participate in Akashic Record training and do so voluntarily. I have sought professional advice if needed to ensure I am ready to engage in deep inner work.
• I understand that The Little Soul School and Laura Coe, LLC are not licensed medical or mental-health care providers and do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any physical or psychological condition. Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support as needed.

I, my heirs, and legal representatives do hereby forever waive and release The Little Soul School, Laura Coe, LLC, its members, teachers, staff, Agents, and employees from any and all liability and responsibility from injury, accident, illness, legal and medical fees sustained now or in the future resulting from my participation in any Akashic Record training, session, or related Retreat activities.

I agree that any and all disputes between myself and The Little Soul School or Laura Coe, LLC shall be governed by Illinois law. Participants agree to mediate any and all disputes prior to the institution of any litigation. In the event of any litigation between the Parties to this agreement involving their respective rights or obligations, such litigation shall take place in Cook County, Illinois, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recovery of reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs of litigation.

This agreement supersedes all previous oral or written communications, representations, or agreements between the parties. I have read and fully understand the contents above and voluntarily agree to the release and waiver of liability, terms, and cancellation policies.
